Children's Centre Development Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Children's Centre Development Worker.

This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their skills in Early Years and gain valuable experience working with children from birth to five years old.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of £24,000.00 per annum.
  • Additional benefits include 25 days annual leave (increasing each year), birthday day off, refer a friend bonus, company sick pay, employee assistance program, company events, free food, and employee discounts.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong interest in working with children and demonstrate a good work ethic, ability to communicate effectively, and treat staff and children with respect and care at all times.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work as part of a team planning, monitoring, and evaluating activities for children from birth to five years old.
  2. Support qualified staff with daily routines in the nursery and assist with daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
  3. Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of the children in the room at all times is essential.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a strong interest in working with children and be able to communicate effectively.
  • Able to work well in a team environment and demonstrate a good work ethic.

Future Prospects:

If you wish to complete your level 2 or 3 apprenticeship (12-15 months), there may be opportunities to be promoted to a full-time Early Years Practitioner and we will work with you to create a continuous development plan and learning pathway to reach your future career goals within the Early Years sector.
