Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our Summit Safety Solutions ltd team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering expert Health and Safety guidance and support to our clients across various sectors.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced safety professionals to understand client needs and develop effective Health and Safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits to assess Health and Safety risks and audit existing procedures.
  • Develop tailored Health and Safety documentation and management systems for our clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to create Fire risk assessments and recommendations for improvement.
  • Deliver comprehensive Health and Safety compliance reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and surveys to identify potential Health and Safety hazards.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues on implementing Company Procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Advise on current occupational Health and Safety legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Audit and inspect Health and Safety practices across the business.
  • Deliver client training sessions on Health and Safety management systems and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in Health and Safety or equivalent qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possession of a NEBOSH Fire certification or equivalent.
  • Desirable: IFE/ IFSM membership and proficiency in Techiosh.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Working Conditions:
  • This is a home-based role with occasional regional travel.

Estimated salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum based on experience.
