Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing local accounts, focusing on organic growth through line extensions and developing new business. You will proactively generate outbound activity to help develop customer spend and identify new opportunities.

You will work closely with internal departments such as logistics and procurement to achieve up-sell/cross-sell opportunities. You will also be required to attend customer site visits occasionally.

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally meet with the below criteria:

  • Minimum 12 months previous experience working within a similar targeted outbound B2B sales role (and able to demonstrate success having hit/exceeded targets)
  • Strong and effective telephone manner, with a documented history of establishing rapport with customers to facilitate successful sales interactions.
  • Previous experience in proactively engaging in outbound calling to existing customers for up-selling and cross-selling purposes.
