Location: Guildford, office based 4-5 days per week

Salary: £100-120k base + package

Eton Bridge Partners is partnering with a pioneering, PE-backed business to appoint a Group Financial Controller based in Guildford.

We are seeking a qualified accountant with a solid technical understanding of accounting principles and practices. Ideally, Big 4 trained (ACA).

The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO to support the Finance function in all aspects of technical accounting, including financial reporting, controls, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted partner, working closely with the CFO to support the Finance function in all aspects of technical accounting.
  • Bring knowledge of how a strong Finance team should operate and suggest ideas towards making improvements.
  • Use strong leadership skills to foster a proactive and thriving team to ready the business for an exit.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to cover BAU accounting in a high-volume environment.
  • Review systems and support with any changes/implementations.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits, acting as the main point of contact with auditors.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant with a solid technical understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience within a PE environment is desirable, preferably within the technology sector.
  • PE exit experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Track record of process improvement and implementing effective financial controls.

Location: Guildford

Salary: c.£110-120k DOE + package
