Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary school in Whitchurch.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a welcoming school where every child's progress matters. You will be working in a Year 4 class, providing general class support.

The role is to start after half-term and should you get on well, the school has capacity for you to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom
  • Support small groups or individual students, especially those who need extra help
  • Create engaging learning activities and encourage independent learning
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
  • Work with students with special educational needs (SEND) when needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children in a school setting
  • A caring, patient, and supportive approach
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
