We are seeking a Senior BIM Technician to join our team, providing the opportunity to co-create on prestigious infrastructure programs in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings in accordance with COWI's standards and project-specific requirements.
  • Design and develop detailed Revit models for structures and tunnels, with a focus on asset tagging and family development.
  • Support the coordination of multidisciplinary teams by ensuring model integration.
  • Provide technical support and Revit expertise to discipline leads throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize Dynamo to enhance workflows and improve project efficiency.
  • Assist in setting up projects with respect to software, tools, and processes.
  • Contribute to the training and development of colleagues, ensuring their advancement and skill-building on various projects.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards quality and support COWI's reputation for high-quality engineering and design.

To succeed in this role, you will be eager to collaborate with others, keep clients engaged, and pursue new insights to improve processes. You will also have:

  • 8-10 years of experience working with Revit on infrastructure projects, preferably in structures and tunnels.
  • An HNC or higher education in Civil Engineering or a related field and Professionally Qualified to EngTech (MICE or TMIET).
  • A comprehensive understanding of Revit and its application in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Dynamo scripting for enhanced model automation and efficiencies.
  • Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and integrating designs.
  • Enhanced communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, discipline leads, and project managers.
  • Experience working with the UK BIM Framework and BIM Project Delivery Roles.
