About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director (MEP) Healthcare to join our UK team. As a key member of our Global Healthcare Division, you will play a crucial role in developing the growth of our UK Healthcare Team.

As our new Technical Director (MEP) Healthcare, you will support the UK Healthcare Lead in driving the expansion of our MEP technical delivery teams. You will be responsible for leading large, multi-disciplinary project teams to successfully deliver healthcare projects, while maintaining a focus on achieving first-class technical delivery and excellent client care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and management of our MEP technical delivery teams
  • Accountability of the delivery of MEP advisory and design services
  • Raising Ramboll's profile and reputation within the Healthcare sector, both nationally and internationally
  • Supporting Ramboll's leadership team to identify and track new project opportunities and convert them to appointed projects
  • Leading large, multi-disciplinary project teams to successfully deliver healthcare projects
  • Inspiring and enthusing the engineers and technicians within the healthcare team and working on your projects
  • Understanding the healthcare sector on a national level and maintaining awareness of connected policies and sector trends
  • Liaising with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings
  • Implementing best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality design and advisory services
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual with a strong background in MEP engineering design team leadership, preferably in the UK Healthcare sector. You should have a degree-level education in a relevant engineering discipline and be a member of a relevant institution. You will have a proven track record of delivering MEP advisory and design services for major healthcare projects, from initial concept through to completed technical design.

You will be an excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex technical concepts in plain language, verbally and in writing. You will also have sound commercial experience and judgement, with a client-centric approach and a passion for business growth and expansion.
