We are an independent boutique accountancy practice based in Cambridge, serving diverse clients ranging from private individuals to owner-managed businesses and large international groups. Our mission is to provide exceptional accounting services and expert guidance to our clients, empowering them to achieve their goals.

Estimated Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of accounts, including financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports. You will be responsible for building productive working relationships with clients and internal teams, using accounting software to provide accurate reporting, and maintaining client confidentiality and data security.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is eager to learn and take on new challenges. As an Accounts Trainee, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial accounts in accordance with FRS 102 1A and FRS 105, as well as sole trader accounts;
  • Producing partnership accounts;
  • Maintaining accurate records and files;
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • AAT qualification or part-qualified status;
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new software packages;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
