About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trainee Accountant to join our dynamic team at Pro Talent. As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and accounting schedules, as well as working on a wide range of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements and accounting schedules, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assistance with bookkeeping, VAT return preparation, and control account reconciliations.
  • Development of strong practical knowledge/experience of accounts preparation within a practice environment.
  • Collaboration with senior colleagues to prepare quarterly management accounts for onward submission to clients.

Requirements:

  • AAT level 3 or 4, ACCA or ACA studier with a minimum 1 year's experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems, including Sage, Xero, and Quickbooks.
  • Intermediate-level IT skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, for the production of letters and spreadsheets.
