Group Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our team at Checkout.com. As a key member of our Finance function, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and control functions.
Main Responsibilities:- Oversee the Group's consolidated reporting and year-end financial statements for the global entity and UK-based entities.
- Create annual financial statements for the Group and its main 2 UK entities, ensuring compliance with the latest reporting standards.
- Lead the consolidation process, including reporting taxonomy, FX, and revaluation, as well as intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with the Treasury to develop Group capital planning strategies.
- Develop and manage the Global month-end reporting timetable, ensuring timely completion of the consolidated month-end reporting close process.
- Lead a team member and actively participate in the Financial Control leadership community.
- Contribute to local or global ad-hoc projects, helping to standardise processes and controls in a highly regulated environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A proven track record in team leadership, accounting, and financial control.
- Experience in building financial reporting and control functions, ideally in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
- A high level of integrity and expertise in managing complex, highly regulated environments.
- Extensive experience working in Financial accounting and reporting environments.
- Qualifications in Accounting (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Expertise in delivering consolidated financial statement reporting and audits on time.
- Familiarity with high-volume, fast-growing multinational companies, preferably in payments or financial services.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Up-to-date technical skills and proficiency in preparing IFRS and US GAAP financial statements.
- Motivated and adept at meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
The estimated salary for this position is £120,000 - £150,000 annually, depending on your experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, a pension scheme, and flexible working hours.
