The Role

The Planning Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring effective capacity allocation to meet customer demand. This involves close collaboration with the planning and logistics teams, as well as technical colleagues, to deliver outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage installation capacity and scheduling to meet customer needs.
  • Liaise with customers, technicians, and team leaders to ensure seamless communication.
  • Support Team Leads in finding improved ways of working and optimizing service operations.
  • Coach and manage other Planning Agents in the use of AIRA systems.
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure capacity is effectively resourced and materials are delivered on time.
  • Book materials, create purchase orders, and coordinate delivery of materials.
  • Monitor team performance and use knowledge and experience to optimize service operations.
  • Implement optimizations and improvements based on forecasts from the central function and feed back results.
