Job Title: Accountancy and Payroll Clerk

Berry Recruitment is seeking a skilled Accountancy and Payroll Clerk to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality transaction processing services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process work in accordance with established procedures and business rules, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Learn and understand the procedures for producing high-quality outputs, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  3. Resolve queries and escalate issues as necessary, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  4. Schedule and prioritize allocated work daily, ensuring timely completion and meeting deadlines.
  5. Distribute information and collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.
  6. Identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to processes and procedures.
  7. Maintain accurate records and update information on databases or manually, as required.
  8. Support line management with administrative tasks and provide exceptional customer service.
  9. Liaise with internal and external clients, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
  10. Print and post data, reports, and invoices daily, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  11. Ensure compliance with audit requirements and maintain accurate records for future reference.
