We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our paediatric team at The Portland Hospital. As a CNS in Tissue Viability, you will provide expert guidance and support to nursing teams caring for infants, children, and young people with skin conditions and birthmarks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and participate in coordinating patient care, maintaining the best interest of the child and family at all times.
- Provide expert advice and support to nursing teams on the care of patients with skin conditions and birthmarks.
- Develop and implement patient clinical pathways for infants, children, and young people attending the hospital for investigation and treatment of skin conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-professional team to ensure high-quality care and outcomes for patients.
- Contribute to the training and education of nursing teams delivering care to patients with skin conditions and birthmarks.
- Children's Nursing Qualification - RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration.
- Substantial post-registration experience in Children's nursing.
- Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support.
- Level 3 Safeguarding qualification.
