As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our catering team in delivering exceptional food and service to our clients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.

We are looking for someone with a passion for food and service, who is able to demonstrate excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills. You will be a team player, with a flexible approach to work and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support the catering team in preparing and serving food to high standards
  • Ensure that all food is handled, stored and cooked safely and hygienically
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment


Requirements

  • Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (desirable)
  • Level 2 H & S Qualification (desirable)
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Experience working in a catering environment (ideally in education)
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
