Job Title: Registered General Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered General Nurse to join our team at Runwood Homes. As a Registered General Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient, in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.
- Assess and manage patient emergencies and pre-planned treatments, ensuring the highest level of care and safety.
- Manage workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and reviews of patients, monitoring their progress and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Administer medications and treatments, applying surgical dressings and providing other forms of care as required.
- Plan and manage duty rotas, directing the work and training of nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Advise on nursing care, disease prevention, and health promotion, providing expert guidance to patients and their families.
- Liaise with management and senior nurses to ensure effective communication and collaboration, promoting the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.
- Plan, manage, provide, and evaluate nursing care services for patients, supervising the implementation of care plans and ensuring high-quality care delivery.
Requirements:
- Hold an NQF Level 6 (or equivalent) qualification.
- Hold an NMC Pin as a Registered General Nurse.
- Have prior experience as a Nurse, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Have good team working skills, with the ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Have the required knowledge and skills to undertake the tasks listed above, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
