**About the Role**

Kenton Black Ltd, a leading M&E and Telecoms contractor in the civil engineering and rail sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to oversee all commercial aspects of major projects across London.

**Responsibilities**
  1. Support the work winning team in reviewing and identifying risks and accountabilities within tender packs and associated contractual terms and conditions.
  2. Develop and implement commercial strategies for pre and post tender.
  3. Take a leading role in transitioning the handover of projects tendered into live projects.
  4. Determine the scope of work and contractual obligations delivering the work through the interpretation of contract documents.
  5. Advise on standard form contracts used for construction projects and deal with key provisions including the rights and obligations of parties.
  6. Quantify and cost construction works.
  7. Negotiate contract agreements and manage potential onerous contractual obligations.
  8. Administer contracts, providing advice on contractual matters and formulating contractual/legal correspondence.
  9. Exercising financial and commercial control, produce profit and loss, cash flow, KPI, CVR, and Cost to Complete statements.
  10. Review competencies of direct reports, ensuring suitable training, qualifications, and behaviours meet commercial requirements.
  11. Accountable for timely delivery of key HR activities within the Commercial team, including annual appraisals, talent and succession planning.

The successful candidate will join a reputable contractor offering a lucrative salary and benefits package.

Up to c£110,000, plus company package.
