Store Manager

As a Store Manager at Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive commercial performance in your store. Your entrepreneurial spirit and passion for spotting and developing talent will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team to create a culture where customer experience is the best in the market, in line with the Morrisons brand.
- Work hard to get the best out of your store's commercial performance, treating it as if it was your own business, always thinking of new ways to improve your offering.
- Lead on all people activities including recruitment, induction, training and development, ensuring you build an inclusive culture where everyone is empowered to deliver great customer service.
- Build and manage relationships, understanding the important role your store plays in supporting the local community.
- Prior experience in fast-paced, service-focused environments such as retail, convenience or the hospitality sector.
- A passion for spotting and developing talent.
- A passion for rolling up your sleeves to support the team in delivering the store objectives.

As a Store Manager, your hours will be driven by the needs of your customers and the business. So early mornings, late nights and weekends are when you will most likely be working. As part of this rewarding role, you may be involved in managing and interacting with children 16 and under, due to our large Home News Delivery operation. Therefore the successful candidate may be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check, or if you're based in Scotland, a PVG check before joining the business. Some of our stores offer their local communities post office services, therefore you may also be required to undergo a P250 check as part of your offer of employment, which includes a financial check.
