Quality Inspection Engineer

As a Quality Inspection Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of components and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process. This role will involve a mix of hands-on inspection, customer and supplier liaison, and report compilation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the Quality department, serving as the primary point of contact for staff.
  • Control the inspection of all parts received from suppliers and produced internally.
  • Utilize various manual and computer-aided inspection equipment, including verniers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
  • Investigate, report, and correct non-conformance issues.
  • Compile detailed inspection reports for new products, suppliers, or modified parts.
  • Collaborate with the R&D department on new product development.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Quality Inspection and Engineering within manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection, as well as reporting and paperwork.
  • Strong communication skills for liaison with various departments.
  • Competency in working with computers.
  • A consistent employment history with references available.
