Quality Inspection Engineer Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspection Engineer to lead our quality office during an exciting period of growth. As a Quality Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the quality office, including first-line management for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the inspection of all parts received from suppliers, utilizing manual and digital inspection and measuring devices and equipment.
  2. Compile detailed ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports) for new products, new suppliers, or parts manufactured by modified/repaired tooling.
  3. Collaborate with Production to resolve component quality issues.
  4. Ensure all inspection details are recorded accurately.

Requirements:

  1. HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  2. Experience using CMM (Manual), and other quality measuring equipment including shadowgraphs, verniers, etc.
  3. Hands-on Engineering experience.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:00
Friday 09:00 – 16:30
