Blockchain.com is a leading software platform for digital assets, offering the largest production blockchain platform in the world.

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team as a Senior Counsel, Commercial, Partnerships. You will advise on, negotiate, and manage various contractual matters and issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal teams to address and resolve contractual matters in line with the company's objectives.
  • Review, draft, revise, negotiate, and advise on key business contracts for various types of arrangements.
  • Support merger and acquisition transactions and other strategic corporate development transactions.
  • Help define procedures and practices within Legal to promote efficient workflows and handling of contractual matters.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • JD/law degree and bar admission in the UK or at least one U.S. state.
  • Preference for 8+ years overall relevant experience, including law firm and in-house legal department experience.
  • Preference for financial services experience in regulated and non-regulated industries.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills and excellent judgment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with diligence, organization, and minimal supervision.
