Training and Development

As a mechatronics engineer apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in multiple engineering disciplines through comprehensive training and development programs. You will work towards an Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering (Mechatronics Maintenance) and earn industry-recognized qualifications.

Our training program includes modules on installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment, fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of issues, planned and preventative maintenance activities, modifications, and upgrades to existing equipment. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians to develop expertise in areas like electrical, electronic, and control systems, mechanical engineering principles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and safe working practices.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for engineering and technology, good problem-solving abilities, and the motivation to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £26,000 - £31,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
