Reliability Maintenance and Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Mechatronics Apprenticeship program. As a Mechatronics Engineering Apprentice, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations by installing, testing, and commissioning new automated equipment, conducting fault finding and troubleshooting, and performing planned and preventative maintenance activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Planned and preventative maintenance activities
- Modifications and upgrades to existing equipment
- Working across multiple engineering disciplines
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and control systems, mechanical engineering principles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and safe working practices. A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and a science/technology subject is required. Additionally, you will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
