About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Electrical Systems team at Forseven. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of electrical systems for our cutting-edge electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Systems Development: Lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems, including electrical modules, ECUs, and other electrically wired components.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Functional Departments, technical partners, and Tier 1 suppliers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of electrical systems.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety in electrical systems.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of components and services, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in automotive electrical systems.
  • Education: Honors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, ECUs, and other electrically wired components, as well as experience with CAN, FlexRay, automotive ethernet, and LIN networks.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
