About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Interior Electronics / Switch Controls for various product lines within the business, ensuring successful project execution and meeting business targets.
  • Own technical ownership of various Interior Electronics / Switch Controls, collaborating with Functional Departments, technical partners, and Tier 1 suppliers to integrate electrical modules into the overall vehicle electrical architecture.
  • Manage commodity attributes such as Quality, Costs, Timing, Homologation, Weight, and ensure they are within business targets.
  • Own Engineering Sign-off of electrical components through the development process, including DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DVP&R, Test & Validation, EMC, FuSa, and Cyber Security.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Programs, Logistics, Service, and workshops.
  • Represent the Electrical in project engineering reviews and external working groups related to responsible components / ECUs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive Interior Electronics / Switch Packs development.
  • Good understanding of Automotive New Product Development Process, Milestones, and deliverables for each phase.
  • Demonstrable experience of electrical component development and manufacture for multiple projects.
  • Working knowledge of CAN, FlexRay, automotive ethernet, LIN networks, and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Working knowledge of relevant homologation standards, ISO26262, and EuroNCAP.
  • Understanding of Functional Safety and Cyber Security requirements for a global market vehicle.
  • Notable experience in using various engineering development tools (Polarion, JIRA, etc.) and collaborative platforms such as Microsoft Office 365.
  • Honor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics or similar areas such as Electronics, Control Systems, Automotive, with relevant experience in the field.
  • Additional professional qualifications and Project Management - desired.
  • Possession of a full driving license is essential.
  • Articulate, self-motivated, and able to work well on own initiative to achieve goals & objectives.
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking mindset to create reports and metrics with supporting data.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of business internally and externally with partners and suppliers.
  • Positive but flexible attitude to achieve business goals and milestones.
