Job Title: Multi Site General Manager, South West

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £65k - £70k + Car, Bonus, Pension, Private Medical

About the Role:

Grosvenor Talent Ltd is seeking a highly commercial General Manager to lead and manage their busy South West area depots. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of results delivery, outstanding analytical expertise, and excellent communication and influencing ability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Ensure all sites are compliant with SHEQ regulations and drive a culture of safety excellence.
  • People: Lead, motivate, and develop the teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Operations: Critically review effectiveness, productivity, and performance, and take action to correct and eliminate problems.
  • Sales: Support the effective delivery of the sales strategy and take action to improve performance.
  • Profitability: Make commercial decisions based on standard pricing, challenged quotations, and damage/losses.
  • ESG: Uphold existing credentials and support the corporate commitment to ESG initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the Construction / Civil Engineering / Hire / Heavy Industry sector.
  • Outstanding commerciality and a consistent track record of results delivery.
  • Excellent analytical expertise and communication and influencing ability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
