Principal Planner (PSC) - Wood Process & Energy

Wood Process & Energy is seeking a highly skilled Principal Planner (PSC) to support a project with Centrica Storage Limited (CSL) on a 12-month contract.

The Role
  • Develop and manage project schedules and plans to ensure robust control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Planning team to develop and implement project management principles and techniques.
  • Support the management and development of the Planning team, project schedules, and planning documentation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the focal point for several project scopes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and plans, including resource loading, progress, and staffing plans.
  • Conduct earned value analysis, cost and schedule variance analysis, and what-if scenarios to ensure project success.

Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience).
  • Proficient knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software, including Logic and CPM analysis, resource loading, and levelling.
  • Proficient understanding of Project Execution Procedures for Scheduling, WBS & CBS structures, and project reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to develop project schedules and plans, prepare resource loading, progress, and staffing plans, and conduct earned value analysis.
