Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Ecologist to join our team in Hampshire/Surrey Borders. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £47,000 + company car.

As an ecological specialist, you will work on rail and civil engineering projects, providing solutions for clients. Your expertise will include protected species in the UK and field studies.

About You:

  • You must be a degree-qualified ecologist with significant experience in the field.
  • You should be a member of CIEEM and have knowledge of UK protected species.
  • Your experience should include rail and hold a current PTS training certification.
  • You will require a UK driving license for travel.

What you will be doing:

This role involves field-based study work on UK railways, requiring you to work in various weather conditions and potentially at night.

The position is based in North West Hampshire, near the Surrey Border, and involves traveling to locations without transport links.
