Project Engineer - Composite Manufacturing

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Poole, Dorset. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the production of composite parts for various industries, including Defence, Aerospace, Simulation, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Manage commercial aspects, including estimating and contract negotiation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional account management.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Project manage component manufacture through factory and external suppliers, as necessary.
  • Prepare Engineering Management plans, including estimates for schedule and resource requirements.
  • Modify existing layup books and sign off sheets as parts evolve or react to quality issues.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education in Engineering.
  • Experience with Composite and GRP materials and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in designing with Siemens NX or Solidworks.
