About the RoleThis full-time Consultant Psychiatrist post is based in Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire, and covers a diverse area with both urban and rural localities. You will work within the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (OACMHT) at Cairnmhor Resource Centre, Dumbarton Joint Hospital, offering outpatient and domiciliary assessment of older people with mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of the OACMHT, providing high-quality care to older adults with mental health issues
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies in a community setting
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health services for older adults in West Dunbartonshire
- Fully registered with the GMC
- License to practise
- Eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register
- Evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview
- A competitive salary of £87,666 - £103,414 per annum
