Job Title: Mechanical Engineers at ALL levels

Company: Employment Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team in the Nuclear industry. This exciting role involves leading the development of innovative designs for major projects within a multi-disciplinary team.

Location: Chorley

Working Hours: 4 days a week Mon – Thurs, 9.5 hours per day. Hybrid working pattern.

Permanent roles available: at various levels Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer and Principal Mechanical Engineer.

We are working with a top client in the Nuclear industry, seeking a Mechanical Engineers at all levels (Engineer through to Principal Engineer) to join their team which is significantly growing due to large projects won.

This position would be ideal for mechanical engineers who enjoy taking on responsibility in a collaborative environment. It will suit a professional with strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring that engineering solutions are both innovative and compliant with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design concepts using Inventor, layouts, and detailed engineering documentation.
  • Ensure designs conform to British and European Nuclear standards and meet client requirements.
  • Principal Engineers will lead a small team of design engineers or work independently, as required.
  • Produce design justification reports that address technical risks and safety concerns.
  • Manage designs within the constraints of project schedules and budgets.

In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of between £38k - £65k depending upon experience. Nuclear or Defence background essential.
