Meridian Business Support is working with a reputable National Private Healthcare Provider to recruit a Home Manager to lead a small Nursing Home.

This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing Private Healthcare providers in the UK as a Home Manager. The home is a purpose-built facility, offering state-of-the-art, luxury service. They provide around-the-clock care for residents living with Dementia / Alzheimer's and a variety of other General Elderly care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals committed to delivering person-centred care.
  2. Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
  3. Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
  4. Continuously monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  5. Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Requirements

Previous experience managing a nursing home is essential. A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings is also required. Additionally, a proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home, is desirable.

Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care are essential. The ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service is also required.

Education and Qualification

Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential).
