This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing Private Healthcare providers in the UK as a Home Manager. The home is a purpose-built facility, offering state-of-the-art, luxury service. They provide around-the-clock care for residents living with Dementia / Alzheimer's and a variety of other General Elderly care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals committed to delivering person-centred care.
- Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
- Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Previous experience managing a nursing home is essential. A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings is also required. Additionally, a proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home, is desirable.
Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care are essential. The ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service is also required.
Education and QualificationPreferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential).
