About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Nurse to join our Integrated District Nursing Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the Luton community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership and management to a multidisciplinary Community Nursing team, ensuring the provision of high-quality, effective, and well-coordinated care to patients and the local population.
  2. Demonstrate effective leadership by taking an active role in the professional development of the workforce, improving standards, and promoting good practice and clinical effectiveness.
  3. Work in an integrated way with partner agencies to ensure the highest quality delivery of care, facilitating the patient-centered approach and avoiding duplication of assessments and treatment.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • RGN / ECP / Paramedic (HCPC) with current registration.
  • Specialist postgraduate education to degree level or equivalent in a relevant specialist area.
  • Community Specialist practice teacher qualification.

Experience of working with a multi-disciplinary Primary Health Care Team, significant post-registration experience working in the community setting, and evidence of involvement in project development work or health promotion group work are essential.
