About Us

Diverse Abilities is a leading provider of supported living services, dedicated to empowering individuals with physical and learning difficulties to live independently in their own homes.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality support services, while promoting diversity and inclusion in our community.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams of support staff, ensuring the delivery of excellent care and support to our service users. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage teams of support staff to deliver high-quality care and support services
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track service performance
  • Identify and mitigate risks to service users and the organization
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including service users, families, and external partners

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A relevant qualification in social care or a related field (e.g., nursing, psychology)Significant experience in managing teams and delivering care servicesExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsA full UK manual driving licenseEnhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including access to Perkbox discounts, auto-enrolment pension scheme, paid accrued holiday, and a cycle-to-work scheme.
