The Maserati of San Diego is seeking a Head of Supply Planning (Outsourced) to manage our outsourced product range, ensuring optimal efficiency, cost management, and seamless product availability. You'll lead a talented team of supply chain professionals while working closely with global suppliers to ensure our business growth targets are met, and our customers remain satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and nurture relationships with key (and new) outsourced suppliers, collaboratively developing and implementing supply strategies that align with our business goals.
- Proactively manage risks like raw material availability and capacity constraints to ensure minimal service disruptions.
- Collate, analyse, and report on key supply chain KPIs, using data to drive continuous improvements in efficiency and cost management.
- Analyse supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and lead initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Frequent International travel to supplier sites to understand operational processes, build strong relationships, and ensure alignment with our supply chain strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of supply chain management experience, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role within the food industry.
- Strong proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with a demonstrated ability to analyse data and drive strategic decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally per month.
