We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the University of Cambridge's Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with Professor Sir Shankar Balasubramanian on the chemical biology of nucleic acids and their role in cancer mechanisms. This exciting research project focuses on four-stranded nucleic acid structures, including G-quadruplexes, and their potential as therapeutic targets or biomarkers.

As a molecular biologist, you will contribute to our interdisciplinary lab's innovative research methods, which combine sequencing technologies, genome-targeting approaches, and chemical biology techniques.

In this fixed-term position, you will have the flexibility to work part-time or explore other flexible arrangements, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking a balanced lifestyle.

Based on your expertise and qualifications, we estimate that the annual salary for this role is around £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.
