Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering

Partner with the Lowestoft Sourcing Unit Director and management team to drive business performance and achieve strategic objectives.

HR Strategy and Local People Plan

Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives, ensuring consistent application across all Sourcing Units.

Talent Management

Lead the development and implementation of proactive talent management plans to ensure the right talent is in place to drive business success.

Industrial Relations

Ensure effective industrial relations and positive engagement with Unite representatives, minimizing the risk of dispute.

Change Management

Translate broader group, regional, and local change initiatives into a single change management plan for the Sourcing Unit, ensuring local cultural, legislative, and consultation requirements are met.

Culture, Engagement, and Communication

Work with Sourcing Unit Management teams to establish a One Nomad culture and inclusive environment, embedding effective ways of working and Nomad values.

Data and Insights

Use data and insights to ensure leaders understand key performance and key risk indicators, advising on relevant actions to manage performance and risk.

Team Development

Coach, develop, and support the HR Business Partner and HR community across the Sourcing Units to create a best-in-class team.

Strategic Relationship Management

Establish key strategic partnerships with on-site agency providers and Catering services, driving continuous improvement of service.

Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience leading HR agenda in Sourcing Unit environment
  • Language requirements: Business English
  • Proven track record of business partnering with Sr Leadership Team and stakeholders
  • Proven track record of delivering complex negotiations with workers councils and unions
  • Experience implementing change agenda within matrix organization
  • Multicultural experience across Europe is preferred
  • FMCG or Retail experience is preferred
  • Experience across multiple HR functional areas is preferred
