Support Worker - Ex-Offender Community Hub

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team at the Ex-Offender Community Hub. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals who have been through the criminal justice system.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to clients, helping them to access housing, benefits, and other essential services. You will also work with a caseload of clients to deliver sessions on life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and general wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a caseload of clients to deliver sessions on life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and general wellness
  • Support clients in accessing training courses and employment opportunities
  • Collaborate with local probation services to provide support to clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working within the criminal justice system, either as a prison officer, resettlement officer, or probation officer. Alternatively, you may have experience working in a role that involves supporting individuals on a one-to-one basis, such as a project worker, support worker, or employment advisor.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about rehabilitation and has a strong commitment to supporting individuals who have been through the criminal justice system.
