About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Rockfish Torquay. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and productive work environment that inspires our team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in leading the restaurant team and achieving business objectives
  • Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential and ensure they embody our core values of 'Care, Community, and Connection'
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of restaurant strategies and initiatives
  • Manage and maintain high standards of customer service, food quality, and restaurant appearance
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and efficient food delivery
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other operational aspects of the restaurant
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and performance management of restaurant staff
