Salary: £15.00 per hour

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chef to join our team. As an Executive Culinary Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of all food in accordance with agreed menus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menu plans in consultation with residents and management
  • Supervise and participate in the preparation and cooking of all food
  • E nsure menus are displayed showing choices
  • Cater for individuals on special diets or with specific cultural needs
  • Manage stock levels and order items in accordance with the catering manual
  • Lead and train the kitchen employee team
  • Ensure HACCP's processes and the catering manual are followed and recorded as required
  • Maintain accurate records of food expenditure and consult with management to ensure costs are kept within budget

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting
  • Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of nutrition and the ability to develop menus that meet dietary requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
