Job Summary
Greetings We are seeking a highly skilled Library Assistant to join our GBS Library team at Global Banking School. The successful candidate will support the development of library resources and ensure high-quality services for students and staff. This is a full-time position with flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and weekdays.

Key Responsibilities
The primary duties include liaising with library colleagues to maintain and develop library systems supporting acquisitions and access. Additionally, you will work on the reference desk, handle loans and returns, respond to user inquiries via email, phone, or face-to-face, and provide excellent customer service to various users. You will also implement library resources using the FOLIO Library Management System and update statistical data. Furthermore, you will participate in projects, groups, and operational process reviews as required.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should hold a degree in Library Science or Information Management or have experience working in Higher Education libraries. A strong ability to work across teams, build relationships, and deliver high-quality services is essential. Travel across campuses may be required occasionally to cover staff absences or support library services efficiently.
