Agricultural Engineer Role

Our client, a successful dealership, is seeking an experienced Agricultural Engineer to join their team at their Winchester depot. This is a mobile role with some work at the depot, and the successful candidate will be provided with a company van, fuel card, phone, and tablet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain machines on customer sites to ensure conformance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork daily.
  • Order parts and work closely with the parts department.
  • Work closely with the service supervisor.
  • Carry out inspections and repairs of machines at the depot as required.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant experience and qualifications, including City and Guilds, NVQ Level 2 in Land Based Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in agricultural plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
  • Full clean driver's license.
