Senior Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our prestigious Leeds Office environment and complement our successful electrical engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement control systems designs across our portfolio of products.
  • Coordinate site, application, and design engineering resources to meet project technical requirements.
  • Ensure effective interfacing between design, production, procurement, and installation and commissioning site teams to optimize project costs and implementation.
  • Develop a working understanding of applicable industry standards.
  • Manage technical content of projects with respect to cost, quality, contract documentation, and specifications.
  • Attend customer sites and liaise with customer engineering representatives as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to degree level or above in Electrical Engineering (or comparable qualifications).
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical design work gained in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive design engineering experience in a drawing office environment.
  • Proven project management awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Comprehensive skills in AutoCad Electrical 2020 (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of low voltage motor speed control applications.
