About the Role

Climax Studios, a renowned digital experience developer, seeks an experienced Senior Games Designer to join our team. With a rich history spanning nearly 30 years, we've established ourselves as a leader in the industry, boasting multiple awards and a legacy of innovative game development.

As a Senior Games Designer, you'll be based in our state-of-the-art space in the heart of London EC1, surrounded by like-minded individuals who share your passion for game development.

We're looking for a creative and technically skilled individual who can drive forward design in our areas of responsibility. You'll take ownership of gameplay features from idea to implementation, work closely with our multidisciplinary team, and deliver exceptional gameplay experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of gameplay features from idea to implementation.
  • Brainstorming and developing ideas, documenting designs.
  • Delivering the best gameplay experience possible.
  • Collaborating with art, code, and audio disciplines on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Strong, all-rounder senior game designer experience with a broad range of game design skills.
  • At least three published game design experiences in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proven track record in making console games, with PC game experience a plus.
  • Willingness to take ownership and drive forward design in areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to provide new ideas and solutions as a creative thinker and problem solver.
  • Unreal 4 experience is a must.
