About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our Secure Services Team based in Ipswich. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users, promoting their well-being and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the care sector, preferably in mental health.
  • Care Certificate - must be achieved within the first 12 weeks of employment.
  • NVQ L2/3 H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC.
  • Ability to travel independently and work flexible hours, including rotating shifts.
