Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Midwife to join our team in the Maternity Day Assessment Unit (DAU) at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Midwife in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women with high-risk pregnancies, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing antenatal care to women with high-risk pregnancies
  • Working closely with our consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participating in the development and implementation of care pathways and guidelines
  • Contributing to the education and training of junior staff members

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Experience of working in a maternity setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
