Job Overview
SJB Services UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Evaluator to join their team. As a Medical Evaluator, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and determining how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
About the Role
This is a part-time role that requires a minimum of three days per week commitment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with the option to work from home and attend face-to-face assessments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine the impact of their disabilities or conditions on their work life.
- Produce accurate and concise reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) detailing the assessment findings.
- Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video conferencing to gather information and conduct assessments.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
- NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
- Experience of working with adults in a range of clinical situations, including surgical, medical, A&E, community, and practice nursing.
- NMC-registered with Continuous Professional Development on your CV.
- IT skills and experience of using a range of software.
- Self-aware and focused on professional development.
- Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery.

- A competitive salary of £37,500 - £43,000 per annum, plus an additional £2,000 after one year and a quality-related bonus of up to 10% once approved and eligible.
