We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team at Espirita as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic patient examinations using advanced ultrasound equipment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough and accurate diagnostic examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
- Capturing, analyzing, and recording high-quality images and patient data to support clinical decision-making
- Maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality and performance
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educating patients and families about procedures and answering questions to ensure informed consent
- Adhering to safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- Post-Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Medical Ultrasound, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, and Abdominal Ultrasound preferred
- Experience scanning Abdominal, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Small parts, DVT, Carotid, and vascular scans on both inpatients and outpatients
