Main Duties:

As a Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing outpatient gastroenterology care to our patients through regular clinics
  • Delivering high-quality gastroenterology services, including endoscopy and other procedures
  • Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in audit and quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care
  • Contributing to the development of our gastroenterology services, including curriculum development and delivery

Person Specification:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Relevant specialty degree qualification
  • Completion of Specialty Training (CST or equivalent) or within 6 months of achieving it in relevant specialty
  • Experience of audit and quality improvement, teaching junior staff, and undergraduate teaching
  • Effective team worker and team leadership skills
  • High-level organizational skills and communication skills
