Regional Engineering Manager

As a key member of the Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated team, the Regional Engineering Manager will be responsible for ensuring the compliant delivery of all engineering services in line with the company's Statement of Work and delivery methods.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, Project Works, and Help Desk Calls in accordance with both client and company requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a technical advisor in small works/minor projects, with monitoring and governance
  • Assisting and supporting the Senior Engineering Management in all functions to ensure HSE and contractual compliance
  • Ensuring contractual compliance with all engineering delivery and being responsible for technical delivery and governance of the contract requirements
  • Monitoring and ensuring all training requirements of the engineering personnel are kept up to date and compliant
  • Overseeing all contract activities, both maintenance and projects, ensuring all safety aspects are managed in accordance with site procedures
  • Undertaking tasks associated with staff during peak workloads and providing holiday and sickness cover for the engineering senior team
  • Supervising staff including full-time, part-time, matrix reports, sub-contractors, and specialist providers
  • Providing technical guidance in relation to preventative maintenance and extra works delivery
  • Managing and coordinating office support staff providing information for compliance reporting and operations
  • Reviewing and signing off detailed planning of the IST Testing activities in conjunction with the local team
  • Coordinating test windows with internal clients to include documentation control and management

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in critical engineering, be trade qualified in an engineering discipline, and hold an Authorized Person certification for High Voltage, Mechanical Systems, and Confined Space. A degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a recognized equivalent is also required.

Key performance measures will be in line with the annual appraisal and review policy, and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong commercial and financial awareness, risk management skills, and a commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Multilingualism is an advantage, with local language proficiency and fluent English both written and spoken.
