We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Falmer.

Job Description
  • Provide assistance, support, and advice on all commercial issues within the project(s).
  • Encourage and develop a culture of commercial awareness within the team.
  • Ensure site teams adhere to group procedures and governance.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare internal commercial reporting and other reports as required.
  • Prepare valuations and applications for payment with supporting documentation.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers, preparing requisitions, monitoring payments, and agreeing final accounts.
  • Administer contracts, including change management and maintaining registers.
  • Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering, and change.
  • Manage costs, ensuring accurate records and implementing a WBS structure.
  • Assess and pursue new stretching targets.
Requirements
  • HND or degree qualification.
  • CSCS (White/Gold card).
  • Chartered status.
  • Full driving license.
  • Commercially astute, with knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract and Standard Methods of Measurement.
  • Computer literate, with strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
